Well, Kaitlyn has been doing a LOT of modeling with Mervyn's lately. She's been to San Francisco at least once a week for the past month and a half. We did pass on one booking the day after her tongue was clipped and we booked out for Sept 4- Sept 8 since we will be out of town, but other than that, she's been busy!

Kaitlyn's Career

I know it's been a while since an update.

As of today, Kaitlyn has done 23 print ads for Mervyn's, a print ad for the Pottery Barn Kid's Fall Catalog (not yet released), a print ad for Picture People (not yet released), 2 print ads for Red Envelope (in the Spring Catalog), a television Series called "World's Astonishing News" with Duo Productions and an Independent Film called Fear Of Flight, which I should have this week I believe.

Kaitlyn is doing great! She is still having a lot of fun working and is still getting a lot of calls for work. She just recently went to go-sees for the cover of Parent's and for Gymboree that we haven't heard back from.

We are all really proud of both her and her career!

Kaitlyn's career is doing marvelous!

Kaitlyn recently filmed a short independent film called "Fear of Flight" which will be screened at the Sacramento International Film Festival in August! She has to re-shoot one scene and do some pick up shots on July 1! She's adorable and is really appreciated on set.

She went on Monday for a casting call for the Pottery Barn Kid's Holiday catalog! She did wonderful!

We are getting ready for the busy time in the industry so we are updating Kaitlyn's headshots pretty soon so that she can look fresh for all of the holiday clients!

Kaitlyn's Career

Kaitlyn's career is really taking off. She ended up shooting 3 outfits for the Pottery Barn Kid's Fall catalog!! Way to go princess!!

She had a go-see for the Enfamil campaign. Shooting starts next week, so hopefully we'll hear good things soon!

Kaitlyn booked the StoryBook Heirlooms job! She has 2-3 days of shooting in June that we are looking forward to.

Below is an updated list of all of Kaitlyn's ads that have been published. She still has many more Mervyn's ads to be released as well as Pottery Barn Kids, Picture People and of course she'll be shooting StoryBook Heirlooms next month!

The last 3 pictures are ones used by the agencies. The top 2 of the last 3 are the ones the casting director uses and the last one is her most recent headshot.

Kaitlyn got a call from the agency today! Pottery Barn Kids has placed her on hold for a Friday shoot!! So, we should hear back from them as long as there aren't any scheduling conflicts she'll be in the catalog!

Another Week has passed

Kaitlyn has been doing so good with her modeling!

On Friday morning she went to a go-see for the in-store display for Mervyn's. We should know by the end of the week weather or not she was chosen.

Afterwards we went to an elite casting company in San Francisco. Her agency encouraged us to go and Kaitlyn is already up for a commercial! Yay! She is being considered as well as some other children but should know by the end of the summer.

I was updating her resume today to print some composite cards to send to her agency and discovered that she has been a busy girl.

Her first job was Oct. 19, 2005 with Pottery Barn Kids. She did a shoot on 10/27 with Picture People and then did the Red Envelope ad 11/2 and since then has done 18 Mervyn's shoots in the 4 months since then. Considering we did take a week vacation, that's pretty impressive.

Kaitlyn's Modeling Update

Well, we got some great news from Kaitlyn's agency.

She is getting more work than any other model in her size category and a favorite at Ambrosi (where they shoot Mervyn's).

They would really like for us to start her modeling in LA. They think she would make a lot more and do a lot of bigger work. While it does sound interesting, exciting and wonderful it really isn't for us right now. Kaitlyn has enough fun going to San Francisco, I'd hate to make her travel all the way to LA on the drop of a hat for a hobby. Her daddy thinks it's a wonderful idea and we should consider pursuing it. Maybe when she's older and her daddy is out of school we'll give it another thought. Now, if a wonderful oppurtunity for her was to arise, we'd reconsider, but for the time being she's doing pretty good.

Kaitlyn's agency is thrilled with Kaitlyn and would like for us to register with a service they use for their top models. It would make Kaitlyn available to more clients and therefore generate more work. We are going to meet with them on one of our next trips.

Kaitlyn took last week off because of prior obligations, but she has another shoot scheduled for Monday morning. Wish her luck!

She had another Mervyn's shoot! She got there and we had no sooner walked in than they called her to the stylist. She got her pretty dress on and had her hair done. Then she went on stage with Georgana, a beautiful little girl. Kaitlyn held her hand and did so good. I saw the picture they are going to use and it's gorgeous! I can't wait. The release date is May 31!

She was called again today to go for a booking with Mervyn's on Monday, but she will not be able to go, her daddy and I have a meeting for his schooling and the times are too close together. We all know there will be many other calls though!

Guess who is making their third trip to SF this week! Kaitlyn is! She is being considered for the Pottery Barn in-store displays! Yay Kaitlyn!! So, as long as she is feeling better, she is going to visit with the photograher tomorrow afternoon.

And, we have returned from our second trip this week! Kaitlyn did amazing!! She was so incredibly good. Her first (yup, she did 2) shot was in a pair of hot pink shorts, and a beautiful blue top that was made of a sheer material, something I would definatly buy for her, or for myself! She hammed it up! She looked amazing on the blue background, her eyes just popped!

The second outfit was a yellow, racer style top and a denim skirt. Again, she looked so adorable people were ooohing and aaawwing all over her. She did great. She loved standing on her "dot" and playing Itsy Bitsy Spider, dancing, playing peek-a-boo and hiding! It was so much fun to watch!

Kaitlyn walked into the building at 10:30, got her paperwork filled out, played with her friend Jaylen (the cutest little boy) for about 10 minutes, did hair her hair and make-up and both shoots. She was done by 11:16. They love using her and can't wait to see her again!

This shoot was for Meryvn's big Mother's Day campaign, she'll be featured in 2 pages of the ad! Yay Kaitlyn!

In other news, I know someone people have yet to receive their Red Envelope Spring Catalog. I found out today that there was an over abundance of requests for the catalog and it had to go into a second printing (they just can't get enough of the Princess I suppose). They are able to send me 5 copies, but since grandparents, aunts, and uncles still have yet to receive them you should re-request your catalog!

Well, we're back!! Kaitlyn did pretty ok. They were running really behind so Kaitlyn got to play for about an hour. Then she put on the most darling pink dress and pink shoes and went and took her pictures!! She was done in under 5 minutes! Her Uncle Ray was there to watch and support the princess! We go back tomorrow for another shoot, it sure is hard being the mom of a super model!

Can you believe another month has already gone by??
Kaitlyn was called today by her awesome agency for 2 bookings this week. Both are for Mervyn's. One tomorrow and one on Wednesday! Wish her luck and we'll update when we get back!

We're back!! We got to the shoot late today by about 1/2 hour. Traffic was horrific and even though I alloted 2 hours and 45 minutes, it just wasn't enough.

After waiting for us for 15 minutes, they used Kaitlyn's back up, she was a very pretty little girl shoting her first ad. Her mom was so excited, so it worked out really well.

Kaitlyn still got paid for her time, and I am sure we'll be back soon!

Kaitlyn got booked for another Mervyn's ad! She shoots tomorrow at 8:30 AM!! I'll keep everyone posted with the publication dates and of course, what adorable outfit she gets to wear!

Kaitlyn got some very exciting news today. GAP loves her!!! They want to use her for their national ad. All she has to do is go to a go-see tomorrow to try on their clothes and ensure they fit properly!!

And, on Saturday she has a go-see for a catalog. Yay Kaitlyn!!!

We're back from another Mervyn's shoot! Kaitlyn was so cute! She wore a cotton pink skirt that had pockets on both sides and a cute striped shirt in pink, white and purple. She had on really sweet pink sandals that had a big, bright flower on each foot! She even got to wear a headband on her head!

Kaitlyn took her pics with the cutest little boy, Jaylen. He was so adorable and she couldn't help but flirt with him.

Kaitlyn's daddy got to go with us this time. He loves to watch his little girl steal the show. Release dates for this shoot are: April 23, 26, 28.

Kaitlyn's nana and papa took Kaitlyn today for her Macy's go-see. They said she did wonderful. The photographer bragged that she was the best on they had seen! Yay Kaitlyn! Kaitlyn also has a booking on Monday morning with Mervyn's at 9!

More good news: Kaitlyn's Red Envelope Catalog arrived in our mail box today! She has 2 large ads! Both are more than 1/4 of the page! She can be seen on page 15 and again inside the back cover. She looks absolutely gorgeous!!

We're back from the go-see for Pottery Barn Kids! Kaitlyn did amazing, as always. She was so smiley and so happy. The shoot dates are March 5 to May 5 and they said they would defintely be in touch with our agency! Keep your fingers crossed for the little princess!

After we got back, Kaitlyn was called for another go-see in San Francisco, this time with Macy's at 10:30. Her nana is going to take her!

Sure, it's twice in one week, but she loves it and who wouldn't love seeing their baby in print?

Kaitlyn did another Mervyn's shoot today! She did so well! The back up baby's name was Kaitlyn as well, and the designer put the other girl in the clothes and the photographer sent her out and said "No, that's the wrong girl, we want the other Kaitlyn" She did amazing. She got to do her picture with 3 other really pretty girls, and some by herself! She did a wonderful job and showed everyone how she knows the hand motions to Itsy Bitsy Spider! It was too cute!

Kaitlyn did go to work for Mervyn's this morning! She did amazingly well. I don't think I have ever seen her behave so well, and smile so easily, and just be the ham that she is. There were some costume malfunctions, but the outfit was really cute!

We had been gone for about an hour when we got a call from the agency. Evidently, the other photographer really wanted to use Kaitlyn today and was upset that she was used this morning. He said he had specifically asked for her and really wanted to shoot her for his page. So, we went back! Kaitlyn did even better this time. She got completely finished in less than 10 minutes!! Way to go princess!!

Kaitlyn went and did another Mervyn's shoot today! They love her! She wore the cutest yellow spring dress with hankercheif and to die for sandals that I can't wait to go and buy her!! This ad comes out March 29- March 31.

Kaitlyn's go see for LL Bean was a huge hit! She went in and said hi to the photographers, went to her X (with a little guidance) and smiled her heart out! She was such a ham. She was very upset to have to leave the nice ladies.

The cool news about LL Bean was that if they chose her, they may use Archie in the shoot as well! We should know about LL Bean and Le Top by the end of next month.

Kaitlyn did another Meryvn's ad! She was so cute in a pink dress and pink hankercheif in her hair! She really hammed it up for the camera. She danced, and played and had huge smiles! She did so well, everyone kept laughing and smiling with her and were so pleased with the pictures they got.

She was done so fast! Faster even then the older kids! They loved her and said they can't wait to call her back for the next catalog!

Well, Kaitlyn has been one busy little girl. We were boarding an airplane on the way back from Alabama when her agent called. They wanted Kaitlyn to go to a go see for Le Top. She went Friday, Jan. 13, and did amazing. Her Grandma and Aunt Beth took her all the way to Richmond. They couldn't get over how well the clothes fit her, how she smiled on cue, and how much fun she was. They played with her long after taking pics. We should know this week if they want to use her.

Kaitlyn got called today for an audition tomorrow! L.L. Bean has started a new toddler line and are interested in having Kaitlyn model it for their catalog! Keep your fingers crossed!

Kaitlyn went today to model for another Mervyn's ad! This one will be out on Mach 17, 19 and 24th so be sure to rush to the stores to get it!

Kaitlyn wore a denim skirt with white eyelit trim, a cute pink top and white sandals! She was so pretty and made me really excited about spring and all of the cute things she gets to wear! Maybe even flip flops!

She was one of 5 children in the shot. She was the youngest with the others being nearly 2- 3 years old. She did so well! We are so incredibly proud of her! She smiled, and stood with the other kids. After about 45 minutes though she did start to fuss a bit, but luckily 2 of the other kids had already given up and the shot was over, YAY!!

Yay Kaitlyn!

Kaitlyn was just hired for another job with Mervyn's!! She goes in tomorrow, December 29 at 9:30 AM! Hopefully, she's still feeling well! Wish us luck!

Kaitlyn just finished a shoot with Mervyn's today! Her Grandma took her to San Francisco to shoot it today, December 12. When they got there, they were told they were the back up model. The original little girl decided she didn't want to wear the clothes, and Kaitlyn took over! The photographer was so impressed with how well she did! She will be in the publications: February 12, February 16 and February 19. We are all so excited to see her in print!

November:

We're going back to San Francisco tomorrow (Nov. 18)! Kaitlyn has a go-see for the Macy's Catalog! They loved her pics and can't wait to meet her! Wish her luck!

Kaitlyn did AMAZING!! It was more of a pre-fit, which means she tried on the clothes that will be used in the shoot and was photographed in each of the three outfits. She did so wonderful, she stood still and smiled her big happy smile. The photographer kept going on about how pretty her smile was and how easy she was to photograph! AND, Kaitlyn was the only baby not to cry for the whole shoot!

We're back from Kaitlyn's modeling shoot with The Red Envelope catalog! She did SO wonderful!! She will be in the spring catalog and on the web site.

Tomorrow, October 27 is going to be one busy day! The morning starts out meeting with Red Envelope about the ad she'll shoot next week and the afternoon is spent shooting with The Picture People. We are all so happy and excited for our little star!!

Today, October 25, Kaitlyn got called back to San Francisco to do another fit modeling job for Pottery Barn Kids! They loved her and want to see her again! We are so excited, this is her 4th booking in 6 days!

Yesterday, October 24, Kaitlyn got a phone call! She has been asked to do the new print ad for Red Envelope! We are all so excited for her! Her shoot is on November 2!!

On Wednesday, October 19 Kaitlyn had her first ever modeling job! She was a fit model for Pottery Barn Kids! They are introducing a new line of baby clothes and used Kaitlyn to determine the proper sizing of clothes! So, when you see 6-12 month sizes, remember the sizing is based on Kaitlyn!

Kaitlyn went back to San Francisco on Friday, October 21 for a go-see with the Picture People! She did so amazingly well! She was one of 15 kids there, and the only one to go and stand on cue, smile for the camera and be well behaved! We are hoping to hear a call back soon!

On Wednesday Kaitlyn heads out to San Francisco yet again to shoot the Red Envelope Catalog! We are all so excited about the shoot, but not looking forward to being there by 8:30 AM!! That is just so early!

We are back from Kaitlyn's photo shoot with The Picture People and have great news! Kaitlyn did pretty good for her first shoot! You can expect to see her in a Picture People near you in February. She will have her "poster" print in ALL studios nationwide, plus she will have her own set of coupon mailers that are sent out, featured on the website, AND, she will be in either Parents or Parenting, the ads haven't been purchased yet, so we just have to keep our eyes out!
